Anak Ilo Foundation Inc. is designed to help the orphans in attaining their dreams through scholarship grants by Honorable Vice Governor Hja. Nur-Ana Indanan Sahidulla. She started the Anak Ilo Foundation way back in 1995 wherein she was not yet in politics. She managed to send some orphans to school with her own savings and eventually in 1998 when Lady Ann was elected Mayor in the Municipality of Tongkil (now Banguingui), the said foundation becomes enormous in scope and significantly successful.

The nortured orphans are talented and have very good grades in school, that’s why Lady Ann was humbly inspired in helping them, aside from scholarship grants she also gave them monthly allowances.

The orphans lost their parents in war. But Lady Ann never let them feel the grief and misfortune by protecting them, giving them shelter and sending them to school.

Some of the scholars who graduated in her foundation are now working in hotels and offices. Others are now teaching in public schools.

Some of them still studying are members of her LA Dancers. They perform with Lady Ann whenever they have their concerts for fund raising intended for the Anak Ilo Foundation.

Lady Ann would like to collaborate with government agencies, philanthropic, private-sector, and not-for-profit partners which could help more orphans in the future.
