SPAAM CLOSING CEREMONY (Oct.31,2008)

As the saying goes, all’s well that ends well. After a week of sports and cheers, the Sulu Provincial Athletic Association Meet once again ended with hopes that among the winning young athletes will once again bring pride to the Tausugs in the field of sports.  

Every year, DepEd-Sulu have been very supportive in commemorating the SPAAM to develop Sulu Athletes.

The Sulu Provincial Vice Governor, Honorable Hja. Nur-Ana I. Sahidulla graced the closing ceremony of the SPAAM held at the Sulu Provincial Grandstand, Capitol Site. 

Lady Ann in her closing remarks said, “That Sulu Provincial Government is very much supportive in Education and Athletic Sports like this. 

The tournament welcomes participants from all DepEd Division to lure the Tausug youth from conflict and violence.  It will turn them into more productive members of the society”.

Lady Ann was very glad to see youth engaging themselves in sports articulating the capability of leadership and sportsmanship.  In front of the huge crowd, she also uttered her program of governance in conjunction to sports development.

The lady vice governor Lady Ann together with Dr. Tim Arbison the school division superintendent awarded the medals and trophy to the deserving winners in all sports category.
