LADY ANN WELCOMES PROF. NUR MISUARI (Oct.2, 2008)

Honourable Vice Governor Sahidulla welcomed Professor Nur Misuari and his group when he visited the Sulu Provincial Capitol last October 2, 2008.

The meeting was then attended by Major General Juancho Sabban of task Force Comet, General Moh. Nur Askalani, Col . Clemen of the 3rd Marine Brigade, other military dignitaries of United States Visiting Forces and Under Secretary of OPPAP  Atty. Nabil Tan Al-Haj.

Vice Governor Sahidulla reiterated to obtain peaceful governance in the province of Sulu, peace and order must be the first priority. 

The honourable vice governor believed that political turmoil must be resolved for the sake of peace and progress in the Bangasamoro Homeland particularly in the island province of Sulu.

She supports the full implementation of the final peace agreement between the GRP and MNLF in Mindanao to attain lasting peace.
