MEDCAP AND WATER SYSTEM PROJECT IN INDANAN MUNICIPALITY (Mar. 05, 2009)

Long queues had interestingly swarmed and crammed the public as the Honorable Vice Governor Nur-Ana I. Sahidulla took the lead in conducting various Medical and Dental Civic Action Programs in the remote barangays of  Kuppong, Langpas and Poblacion in the Municipality of Indanan, Province of Sulu.

Vice Governor said this move is in line with her outreach effort to serve her constituencies.  ‘’for as long I am the Vice Governor of Sulu, I will enforce all the necessary laws, peace and order with justice, progress, development and services that is commanded before me by my beloved Tausugs”, she added.

With the Vice Governor is the Joint Task Force COMET Commander MGen. Juancho M. Sabban and Colonel Eugenio N. Clemen, Commanding Officer of the 3rd Marine Brigade.

The military also extended their untiring support and effort to this humanitarian endeavour as part of their humanitarian mission in bridging the gap between the Bangsamoro people and military for a better Sulu.

Honorable Hussin Hajan, Mayor of the Municipality of Indanan, warmly welcomed the arrival of MEDCAP team and guests. Mayor Ahajan was very thankful to Vice Governor Sahidulla for bringing such to his municipality which benefits more of his locals.
Other than the medical and dental activities, the team also provided pamphlets, novelty items and a film showing to the residents who really enjoyed the show.

After the MEDCAP, ribbon cutting of Water System Project by honorable Sahidulla follows at barangay Poblacion, Indanan. Spring water in the Municipality of Indanan is abundant and has the best source of water in the entire province of Sulu.
