TEACHER'S DAY CELEBRATION (Dec. 18, 2008)

The Department of Education, Division of Sulu I celebrate the teacher’s day held at the Sulu State College Gymnasium at around 9 O’ Clock in the morning with their theme “Active and Diligent in Achieving Quality Education”.

Sulu Vice Governor honorable Hja. Nur- Ana I. Sahidulla was among the invited guests of honor.  In her speech she congratulates all the teachers for bringing hope and for being good models to their students. 

According to her, the teachers are the purveyor of truth and light, wherein they teach the children to be hard-working and persevere to attain their educational goals in the future.

The celebration was attended by Jolo I to IV Districts and other schools namely  Jolo National High School, Jolo Agricultural School, Jolo National High School, Sulu National high School, and Districts such as Pangutaran National High School, Maimbung National High School, Maimbung District, Indanan National High School, Indanan South  District, Indanan North District, Parang National high School, Parang West District,Parang East District, Patikul West District, Patikul East District, Talipao District.

Every schools and district who participated in the celebration prepared a song and dance number in the said program.
